"Fall" Animated Short Film Development

This is some film development examples from my short film "Fall". Done in 2023.

Logline: A youthful green leaf yearns for adventure and freedom to join the other leaves who are falling down the tree together, leaving him behind.

Theme: The child-like eagerness of growing up creates a fantasy of adult life, but ideals might not be as colourful as reality.

Synopsis: A young and green leaf watches the other orange leaves fall to the ground below, making it feel left out as it is stuck to the branch. It gets determined to free itself to join the others and starts to pull on its stem until it eventually frees itself. It happily jumps off the branch to join the other leaves on the ground, but they’re all brown and orange.
